There’s this little drawing application called odosketch, it’s something like oekaki, and it’s really fun to draw with, even if it’s hard to control. No masking too, unfortunately… But it’s really cool, and then you can see how other people draw because it replays the whole thing when you click on it. Another pretty side effect is that they only have pastel colours so the end picture looks interesting~

Anyway, today’s sketch is a random sunset/sunrise scene with a random person sitting on a random rock. Don’t ask me why, I just felt like drawing that…

Bubble Tea

Hm, I don’t think I’ve ever drank really awesome bubble tea before. Is it Taiwan that has all the awesome bubble tea stores on the streets? I usually buy ice blends or the random desserts from Sweettalk anyway, I don’t like the taste of liquid and the pearls, the texture doesn’t gel too well to me.

But anyway, on to the random and rather old doodle (please to be ignoring the fake!crosshatching…):

Probably not even physically possible to hook pearls since they’re so… Chewy. But well. The bears were bears at first but an accident made them into pandas OTL

Coursework Exhibition

Our exhibition/marking day was actually on 1st August, and because I’m always really lazy to transfer the pictures from my camera to the computer, I only did it just now eheh.

Uwoh, apparently these pictures are now showing as a mini-slideshow thing if you click on the inet student’s portal thing~ They didn’t credit though hmph >: Heheh, I feel so ego now that I know the photos are good enough to be displayed on inet 8D

Oh my, this stuff is going to be used for Speech Day?! Have to make some changes to ensure that everyone has enough representation, so I’ve got to put up some pictures and take some down huh. Okay editing time~

Um, just a random image I guess? I’ve always wanted to do something with those overlapping black and white circles~ Too troublesom to colour traditionally, maybe one day it’ll get cleaned and coloured digitally. Maybe.

Coursework and marking were over last week hooray~! I think it went okay, but obviously my score won’t be very high OTL I would upload the final image but it’d be puny since the maximum width allowed is 550px so I don’t think there’s much point? Pictures of the exhibition coming soon once I can be bothered to transfer the pictures to my laptop (:

I feel so much less stress since the deadline was extended~ But I think I’m starting to slack off more because of that too, oh no… Must tell myself to work hard!

Work in Progress and just completed humpback whale~ I know they’re not supposed to be blue, but I have way too much black and grey (the orcas and dolphins) right now, so this whale will be blue~

In school working on my Coursework right now, but I’ll be going down to Cosfest later on after I get home and change~ Hopefully H1N1 won’t affect the number of cosplayers…

Apparently we kinda have an extension, because apparently they always extend the deadline, because apparently the first deadline is just to make sure we’ll finish by the second one. Or something.

Stupid still undone lionfish, this is all your fault. Why couldn’t you have been completed quickly like the dolphin…

What Else but Coursework?

Because really, that’s all I ever post anymore. And the next week or so will be spent rushing out more fish, and the damned background which cannot be drawn without lagging up my computer. And now I’ve got the added problems of layering, prepwork and the cost of printing. Life is obviously toying with me.

I’m starting to disbelieve in the theory of evolution, just because too many things (like this lionfish) are too complicated, hmph. I don’t like this particular one, I think it looks worse than my other fish…

I just realised today that my fish are too small for my background /fail. Thankfully they were done at 300 dpi and can still be stretched and printed without that much problem OTL
